In February I've purchased an Oculus Rift to start working in Medium, after seeing the extraordinary things Finnian MacManus does with it. I was fortunate enough to meet him at IAMC '19, and he gave me some tips to improve. I love how I can use 3D so intuitively now. But I hadn't had a good pipeline after modeling a scene. Painting over a screenshot proved to be ok, but not great. I wanted to push it further.
So I've searched and found the unbelievable great Octane tutorials by Jama Jurabaev, and after some trial and error, I've accomplished something I was searching for for a very long time: creating whatever I want without restrictions in Medium, bringing it to a cinematic feeling in Octane and giving it my personal touch in Photoshop. And everything in a blink of an eye (well at least it's freakin' fast).
I'm thrilled to have learned so much from those two guys, and I'm going to support them further in their careers, as they gave the community and me so much. Thanks, guys!
